Job opportunities for the M.S. programme

MS is research oriented unlike M.tech which is course-work oriented. Number of courses you do in MS are less than in M tech and hence you get more time to carry out research.
MS is just like mini PhD. You get the overall feeling of doing a PhD. After MS you can easily go for higher studies in India or abroad. There are high chances of publishing good research papers in MS since you are getting more time for this which can help you in securing admission for PhD in top universities of the world.
As far as job is concerned there are few companies in India which recruit MS or Mtech students except few CSIR labs, ISRO, etc.
